LeMars Water Dept. Calls For Voluntary Water Conservation
WATER WATCH CONDITIONS
LeMars water use, resulting from continued dry weather, and produced a
call for voluntary conservation by the city of LeMars. The city's water
department monitors supplies daily and has determined that LeMars water
system is currently overstressed.
It is estimated that voluntary residential conservation efforts can
produce water saving of up to 10 percent. A list of suggested water
saving activities and other information is available from City Hall,
weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by calling (712) 546-7018 or
(712) 546-5555.
When making this request in an attempt to avoid more severe action at a
later date. This is not a crisis situation, but with responsible
conservation on the part of LeMars residents we may get through this
period without resorting to water rationing.
These Are Some Simple Steps To Help Conservation

....plants
